The materials donated to our class will be of great use as many of my students have intellectual disabilities. Our class is new and we have no supplies. The wobble chairs would help keep the attention of students as they sit during small group instruction in centers. The canopy would be use to create a safe space for a break area as many of our students need self regulation skills. Having a cozy place to relax will encourage them to feel calm and to learn that is ok to take breaks when feeling overwhelm. The rest of the supplies would benefit my students by learning life skills through the use of interactive activities. By donating to our project, you will be helping my students build their life skills in a fun and safe environment. I believe all students need access to supplies specially when they are coming from low income families.
