To help fulfill COVID-related learning needs I am trying to get funding to purchase each student their own individual supplies for Geometry and AVID so they do not need to share supplies. I hope that this help slow down the spread of COVID at our school. I am purchasing Composition Books because every year my students create their own Interactive Notebooks in Geometry/AVID. These Composition Book include all important notes and materials students need to be successful in Geometry and AVID. These Composition Books allow students to be as organized as possible. It gives them one singular place to keep all of their important notes. The Colored Pencils, Markers and Crayons help students personalize their notes. We do a lot of drawing, annotating and highlighting in Geometry. By having different color choices students can make their interactive notebooks individualized to them. This will allow to make the learning more meaningful, which will lead to increased learning and retention rates.
