These manipulatives will help promote the 6th and 7th grade Nevada Academic Content Standards. They will assist students in learning the concepts for the number system, expressions and equations, and geometry. When students are able to use manipulatives to create models, they can better visualize a concept. My students had to learn math from home during COVID-19 distance learning. My students didn't have access to math manipulatives during that time. Now that we are in the classroom together, I want to give them the ability to use math manipulatives during our lessons.

About my class
