Students in our classroom use their computers every day. Kids listen to stories, practice phonics, use it to improve their math skills, and learn to read. With so many computers being used at the same time it makes a lot of noise in the classroom. If all of the students had headphones they would be able to concentrate much better and be able to listen to only their own computer. If a child is trying to read a story and is listening to 20 other computers talk at the same time, it makes it very hard to focus.
