These Language Translator devices will be so helpful to all my English learner students. My students are mixed with other students who are fluent in English. These limited English speaking students are always in need of translation in their home language as new content is being taught or just simply for everyday conversations. Receiving these Language Translator devices will help me to communicate and assist my students who do not speak English. I want them to learn and they want to learn. It is so sad to see the frustration on their faces. We have utilized free translation apps, but have encountered multiple hiccups. These Language Translator devices will greatly improve our ability to communicate and get information to our students. The first Nevada ELD Standard is for social and instructional language: English language learners communicate for Social and Instructional purposes within the school setting. These translators will really come in handy in addressing this need. My students will also benefit from the whiteboard markers as we can use the different colors to color code our writing, parts of speech, writing claim evidence and reasoning papers and so much more!
