We will be learning how to use math, hand tools, and their imaginations to build birdhouses for the elderly at our local Senior Citizen Center and long-term care facilities. Students will be responsible for creating a birdhouse for themselves, one for a fundraiser to sell for class, and one to donate to a Senior Citizen. Students will have to build well-designed and built birdhouses (feeders) using the proper tools and measurements while recycling materials to craft their work. I am super excited to get them started. About my class
