Advancements in technology have expanded at exponential rates over the last few decades. The miniaturization of computers, thanks to the space program, and the development of the Internet that followed shortly after has connected us to each other more than ever. My students are exposed to these types of technology on a daily basis, and, if leveraged properly, can benefit their learning experience. Bringing advanced technologies into the classroom can better prepare students for the realities of modern society. Unfortunately, some schools haven't had the appropriate resources to implement such technologies. This project would give my students the opportunity to experience a tech-savvy classroom, not unlike the settings they will be exposed to in the workforce. With a large-screen television, they can clearly view presentations, videos, and simulations in high definition. Incorporating technology into the classroom will certainly enhance the learning and growth of my students.
