The use of Kindles is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in ELA, Science and Social Studies. Using Kindles can help students read at their level and also challenge themselves when reading independently. This also allows students to hear their books if they find them to difficult to read by themselves. By donating to our project, you will allow our students access to technology they do not have at home. They can focus on reading what they enjoy while learning along the way. In our technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase my student's literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
