These materials will help motivate my students to continue the process of learning to write paragraphs and essays. When I am able to print their work in color, they get very excited to see it on display in the classroom. They tend to put more effort into the assignments knowing that their work, illustrated with a colorful graphic, will be printed for them. I will collect their writing throughout the year and make a memory book for their families to enjoy for years to come. In this way, their parents will be able to see the progress their child made as a developing and proficient writer.
