Research indicates that implementing a social-emotional approach in schools can make a real difference. Teaching strategies allows students space to discuss feelings and issues and creates a better classroom environment and more motivated learners. These materials will help my students be more critical thinkers in discussing social emotional issues and having a growth mindset when doing a task that is difficult. My students will use these skills to set goals for themselves and their learning throughout the year. We are building a stronger classroom community and strong minded young learners.
