This will also help my students access the general education curriculum with needed materials that support their unique learning styles. These materials will support their behavioral and academic needs. 8.PK.4a Initiate conversation and respond to others. 8.PK.4c Ask and answer simple questions. Follow classroom and school rules. 1.PK.1b Select materials to use for individual expression. 1.PK.2b Acknowledge actions and accomplishments. 1.PK.2 Identify the beginning sound of own name. 1.PK.3 Identify letters in own name. 1.K.4 Comprehend vocabulary using pictures, symbols, environmental print; With assistance, comprehend vocabulary using suffixes, synonyms, antonyms; Sequence the letters of the alphabet to understand alphabetic order; With assistance, use resources to find the meaning of unknown words encountered in text; Build vocabulary using picture and symbols. (Vocabulary Development). The materials will help my students make progress on the standards above.
