It seems like a small thing, but having students need a get a cup and go to the water fountain means they leave class more often. We're also going through a LOT of cups each day, which is tough on the environment. These water bottles will reduce our environmental impact and help class run more smoothly. Our students often can't afford basic like clothes and food, so water bottles just don't get purchased. I plan to label each water bottle with the student's name, grade and homeroom teacher to make sure they don't get lost or mixed up!
