The following items will help keep my students organized while supplying individual classroom supplies so that they do not have to share materials: HON SmartLink Student Desk Backpack Hook, Chrome, 10/Ct, 3M Whiteboard Eraser, for Permanent Markers and Whiteboards, White/Blue, 2/Pack (581-WBE), Pacon Child Storage Pocket Chart, 6 Pockets, 18.5" Height x 15.5" Width x 2.5" Depth, Blue, Polyester, 1Each, Expo Dry Erase Marker, Chisel Point, Black, 12/Pack (80001), Teacher Created Resources, Black Polka Dots Storage Pocket Chart (TCR20750), Swingline Optima Electric Stapler, 20 Sheet Capacity, Silver (48208), and Swingline Optima Premium Staples, 1/4" Length, 210/Per Strip, 3,750/Per Box (35556). This will help to reduce the risk of possible exposure to COVID. In addition, they will use the multi-color highlighters (Avery Hi-Liter Tank Highlighters, Chisel, Green, Dozen (24020), Avery Hi-Liter Tank Highlighters, Chisel Tip, Blue, Dozen (07746), Avery Hi-Liter Stick Highlighters, Chisel, Pink, Dozen (23592), Sharpie Tank Highlighter, Chisel Tip, Fluorescent Yellow, 36/Pack (1920938)) to analyze different rhetorical devices in literature which address Nevada Academic Content Standards ELA.10.RI.6. They can also use the highlighters to annotate the key components of their essays, such as: thesis statement, evidence, and commentary which addresses Nevada Academic Content Standards ELA.10.W.1-2. The Kagan MegaTimer, Jumbo Digital Timer (KA-JMT) will be used to foster Social and Emotional Learning while teaching time management skills used during reading analysis and discussion. It will be used to address ELA.10.L.2-3. Lastly, I like to promote a positive classroom environment and Social Emotional Learning achievements using reward stickers. I can use the Trend superSpots & superShapes Awesome Assortment Stickers, Assorted, 5100/Pack (T-46826) and the Trend Enterprises Sticker Pads, Praise & Reward, 738 Stickers per Pack (T-5011) to give students positive feedback in a tangible and fun form. My students love getting these stickers.
