I am the school counselor to many students who are coming back from remote learning with low social skills. These STEM and craft materials will help them regulate their emotions during a crisis to help them stay calm. I hope that these materials will help my students acquire the skills to regulate themselves and problem solve. Not only will they get some sense of normalcy back, but they will also have fun building and creating. These STEM and craft materials will help me to teach those students the skills to self-regulate and problem solve. I've seen firsthand how having something as small as LEGOs, Magnet Tiles, and craft materials can be transformative to a child, not just in counseling but also in the classroom, and in life. Please consider funding this project as you will be truly changing lives when you do.
