The resources will help fulfill the ELA standard, W.1.6, which states that with guidance and support from adults, use a variety of digital tools to produce and publish writing, including in collaboration with peers. The use of headphones will help my students with the COVID blended learning. They will be able to use the headphones at home with their Chromebook to cancel out their background noises at home. Students will have school resources that they can take home and better their learning. They can take the phonics kits and art material to help them with their ELA work. They will also help them to collaborate and have class discourse with their peers. The resources asked for will also align with standard W.1.5 which states that with guidance and support from adults, focus on a top, respond to questions and suggestions from peers and add details to strengthen writing as needed.
