After the Humphreys County floods, access to books are a challenge. The public library, junior high library, and elementary school libraries are destroyed. My high school's library is all packed away because all bookshelves have to be replaced. Help me provide access to reading by providing the sequel to students who would like to read it. At this time when our community is recovering and cannot provide access to physical books, I feel terrible that I cannot provide the sequels to students who are eagerly asking. This would really help, and I believe it could influence some students to make them life time readers. One good book is all it takes to draw reluctant readers in. That is what I hope I have accomplished by reading The Hunger Games in class, and I hope having access to books 2 and 3 will help foster this love.
