All my students have a hard time finding a comfortable place to read or even books that are easily accessible. I want to foster an environment in my classroom, unlike anything they have at home or in any other classroom. I want my room to invite students to read and surround them with books. Many of my students don't have a safe, comfortable place to read and therefore they never attempt to open a book and get lost in that world. Books were an amazing escape for me as a child and I want my struggling students to see how far reading can really take them.
