My 6-8th grade scholars have been committed to practicing and performing instrumental music since I've arrived in 2019. During our first winter concert the band students had to use chairs to hold their music due to the lack of music stands we have in the program. Over 50 performers were limited with only 12 stands that were in good enough condition to perform with. Most of the stands were broken and thrown out when I arrived as the General Music & Band Teacher. The donated music stands will allow more students to successfully participate in the band program without rushing to make sure they get to the first come, first serve stands that we already have. Students will be able to practice comfortably and develop even more of an appreciation for the art of music. Your help with providing an enriched music experience for my 6-8th grade students would be greatly appreciated!
