As the Reading teacher at my campus, I am responsible to assist my students in improving their proficiency level in the English language. Students enrolled in my course need extra support and tools to better meet their needs. The iPad will give my students the opportunity to improve their language development through interactive applications that will allow them to practice their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Using these skills can be very difficult for students that have not mastered the English language, yet technology can help reinforce vocabulary and concepts through graphics, pictures, text, and video. The iPad will become a special tool for my students to access more resources and become better prepared for all their courses, state assessments, and future.
