Due to the current pandemic and the need for social distance, my students have to sit on the floor during their 30-minute reading intervention block, in order to safely distance themselves from one another. Having a cushioned seat will provide them with some comfort and help them focus on the learning. I believe students will be more motivated to come to the reading center to work on improving their literacy and language skills when they are in a comfortable environment. I believe, in comfort, the students will be able to engage in their learning.

About my class
