I am a first year teacher who is setting up a TK/K SDC classroom from scratch. There are currently no cubby lockers in place and I would like to create a more organized system for my students to hang up their coats and backpacks as soon as they enter the classroom. Organization is an important for life skill to have. It is particularly important for students with special needs who need more structure. Organization helps students learn life skills, such as taking ownership, productivity, and how to plan and prioritize. When students walk through the door, they will know they are expected to hang up their backpack in their designated cubby spot. From the moment students walk in the classroom, these cubby lockers will help students get ready to learn by increasing productivity and efficiency by way of routine and organization. Thank you for donating to my organization project! -Miss Kelly
