Materials from this project will be used to promote social-emotional learning and bonding among the students in the classroom. Students will create teacher bags to hold their materials when they teach our on-site kindergarteners. Our school has an on-site kindergarten so that our students get an immersive teaching experience. Students write lesson plans and teach core subjects to the kindergarteners in group based centers. Students create materials for their lesson plans and would love to have teacher bags to carry them in. Covid online learning impacted our students social-emotional needs significantly and this project would help them bond with their fellow classmates.
