Right now as a class we are reading a lot of material from the internet as well as technology-driven programs. My goal is to give a brief reprieve from the screen, dive into real books, and complete some hands-on projects. The more creative, the better. With new materials, the doorway to well-designed and colorful projects can emerge. Our book reports and research projects will promote higher levels of reading comprehension as well as higher-level outputs of knowledge. Through garnering new creative and reading materials, the student will feel reinvigorated to achieve.
