Many of our students do not have access to mental health resources because they live in underserved neighborhoods. Our team of school counselors run multiple groups to reach as many students as possible. Groups cover topics such as building a positive self-image, managing anxiety or depression, dealing with grief and loss, and how to be successful in high school. The requested journals, workbooks and activities will help our counselors provide effective group and individual counseling to our students. The books would be a part of a self-help library while some will help counselors facilitate groups or discussions on sensitive topics.
