These materials will be crucial in my students' learning. We have the great opportunity to get hands-on learning with consumable supplies. Please let me let the fun keep occurring with adequate supplies available. Our fabrication machines are used through our 4K-8 building. Each grade level has the developmentally appropriate use of the machines to complete the design challenge. Throughout each lesson, students are engaged through the engineering design process that provides an opportunity to work on being creative, critical thinker, collaborative, and so much more. Our littles use the machines to tie into their science curriculum to learn about 2D and 3D shapes. Our oldest learners are thinking how to create and manufacture a prototype and improved model. These materials will benefit my students by adding new lessons, provide each member of the collaborative group a group of the prototype, and make creative extensions. I would love to have these supplies to all students to independently use the Fab Lab to express their creativity. Without the supplies, my lessons are limited on materials. I will have to limit the amount of use of the Fab Lab over the year the stretch out supplies. Please help! My students would love the chance to get their hands on supplies.
