All my students have difficulties with spatial awareness and touching each other. Due to the pandemic, they have struggled with social skills and do not understand the importance of distance. Understanding and introducing space, direction, teamwork, and manipulative skills. Students will be able to learn different skills in the gym that can be practiced in the classroom and at home. Understanding direction of up, down, side to side, making shapes and letters with the use of the ribbons. Demonstrating through and under concept using tunnels and parachutes. In getting the shape bean bags, foam balls and plastic balls students will be able to visually see the shape, color, and name them when playing "pass the". Playing activities with hula hoops to practice distance. Giving all students the opportunity to learn through play!
