The intermediate students that I work with can be very fidgety and wiggly. Many squirm in their seats very often! In order to help them stay focused and safe, I'd love to provide them with the flexible seating options in this project! Students will use the stadium seats and wobble chairs to reach and maintain reading stamina and focus during math. This tools are extremely helpful to students who are self-aware and give them the opportunity to self-manage their actions (CASEL's framework for SEL). Additionally, this will give students the tools they require to be successful in reading and comprehending grade-level literature (RL.3.10, RL.4.10, RL.5.10) and grade-level informational text (RI.3.10, RI.4.10, RI.5.10).
