My primary students are doing so well learning to read! I would love to give them the additional support that headphones can offer while they become fluent readers! Listening to reading and being able to follow along are important steps to becoming fluent readers. By offering my students access to the audio version of text, alongside the physical print version, students are able to focus on reading with sufficient accuracy and fluency to support comprehension (RF1.4) as well as being able to apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words (RF1.3).
