It has been exiting to be able to get back to having P.E. class more similar as it was prior to COVID-19. Students have a variety of skill levels given some did not participate in many activities during COVID shut downs and when returning equipment was used limitedly given guidelines. Students have specifically have been asking for fitness based activities. Students now getting back to P.E. as it once was have an increased need to focus on coordination, teamwork, sportsmanship, balance and agility. The equipment being asked for will be used to address the following Nevada Physical Education standards: Content Standard 1.0: Demonstrate competency in motor skills, movement patterns and safety needed to perform a variety of physical activities and Content Standard 4.0: Achieves and maintains a health-enhancing level of physical fitness focusing on 4.5.1 Participate in various physical activities utilizing the health related fitness components.

About my class
