One of the best practices that teachers can use is small group instruction and interaction with other students. The materials I am asking for will help me teach my small groups and give the students not working with me directly the opportunity to engage with others and work independently while practicing the skills being taught. They need an inviting learning environment to stimulate growth. The beanbags, rugs, and headphones will help them to work independently in comfort without disturbing others. The STEM materials will help the students engage with each other. All of the materials will enable learning and engagement to take place for all students.
