The materials and supplies I requested have a "home" in the classroom. The student bins will be used in their cubbies to keep their Chromebooks, books, journals, worksheets, and other materials so they stay organized and don't get lost. The bean bags and foldable chairs will be in the library area and used throughout the classroom for flexible seating options. The students LOVE doing partner work and reading on the bean bags and foldable chairs. During independent work time, they choose a location in the classroom that works for them to sit. I receive a lot of Time for Kids magazines and Scholastic and don't have a place for all of them. The magazine holders will keep them organized by genre and easy for the students to look through and grab magazines to read and take home. The expos are for the whiteboards for the students and myself to use. We do a lot of whiteboard work! The book bins will allow me to sort books by genre so they aren't all mixed together. It is easier for the students to go right to the genre they want and pick from that bin.
