Our regular TI calculators do not have the CAS featured system. We do have TI Nspires that do have that, but I only got the regular yellow ti ones. CAS stands for Computer Algebra System. This is an advanced feature that is used to solve algebraic equations that are otherwise unsolvable by hand. I would like to use this opportunity to show my students how to make good use of such feature because in real life, most of the equations that we obtain are unsolvable. This will also be helpful for their AP Test.
