We are trying to create a more diverse learning community in our classroom that welcomes all learners and all cultures. We want our students to recognize that we are all different but should be treated with equal respect. Having these various dolls, cultural family toys, visual vocabulary cards, and lessons will allow us to gain new perspectives and celebrate our differences in the classroom. Our young learners share an organic dynamic in the classroom - treating each other equally and with kindness. I would love to have dolls that represent our diverse class of children and new lessons that support various cultural backgrounds. Thank you for your consideration!
