After focusing extensively on math and reading online during virtual learning, my ELL students struggled with WIDA goals due to isolation and nonfiction due to the academic vocabulary in science and social studies. These books will provide the research materials for reading and writing activities. The models, kits, molds, and play dough will allow students to create and test their thinking to understand science concepts better. The tripod and mounts will make recording our activities in our newscaster voices easier and let the teacher create better quality videos to support families virtually.
