I will teach lessons that will be inclusive to my students as well as broaden their reading and comprehension skills. I would also like to use these books to help them advance in their independent reading. Students have lost these skills due to the pandemic and need more reinforcements. Many of my students are inner-city kids and don't have access to books. I would like to have books that will allow me to enhance my lessons and engage my students. I currently teach a fifth and sixth grade class with students on different reading levels.
