The speaker will allow students to become fully immersed in dance class. The purpose of the course is To understand dance as a way to create and communicate meaning. [DA:A3. I]. Currently there are no speakers or tech in the dance room. Students have not been able to engage with music in order to learn the elements of dance. The speaker will really help. Students are also more engaged when they are in a more comfortable classroom. With the addition of new elements to enhance the classroom environment, students will become more comfortable, engaged, and ultimately perform better on their performance tasks. I have had the desire of revamping my classroom for the past two years, however due to COVID this project has been delayed. I'm hopeful of getting this project funded so that students can have a space to learn and be excited to be at school again.
