All students want to be artists. My students are no different and this will allow all my students; in person and virtual, to be included. Participating in art allows children to explore emotions and find safe ways of expressing themselves. Learning to express yourself and having such efforts valued, can do wonders for self-esteem. Additionally, art is a great way to relieve the stress of such emotions. Doing art can increase students' confidence and make them feel more engaged. Art engagement also helps with anxiety and stress. All my students have been dealing with different emotions as we continue to persevere through this pandemic.

About my class
