The donations to this project will help my students feel more comfortable coming into my office and talking to me about their social, academic, and emotional issues. I have requested a small loveseat in order for my students to feel comfortable and take the time to bond with me. I have also requested stress balls and figures in order to help them de-stress or calm down when they're having an anxiety attack. A lot of the time students and parents are not comfortable meeting in a small space due to covid, and I find adding an air purifier will help ease their concerns during the frequent conferences that are held in my office.
