I chose a variety of Spanish children's books to have available for my students in the hopes that it will increase their love of reading. Many of my students come from Spanish speaking homes and I hope to bridge the gap between our two languages. I hope to create a bilingual library within my classroom as well as use these books for children to take home to share reading experiences with their families. By providing my students with a child-size rocking chair, I can create an inviting reading nook where they can read throughout the day.
