These new resources will allow more students to have access to high-quality Science and STEM curriculum. Each classroom set of Legos and Magnetic Building Tiles will allow for students to work in pairs instead of groups of 4. In the smaller groups, students will be more engaged and able to participate in all learning activities. The larger groups of 4 create an equity issue where not all students in the group can participate fully. These STEM materials help promote all Engineering Design Standards in NGSS (MS-ETS1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4), which cultivate students' ability to develop and design solutions using scientific principles against real-world problems and constraints.
