These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind-I have watched them the past few weeks of school read titles just like these, and I have also asked them what type of books they would enjoy reading. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. Headphones allow students to listen to their Chromebooks so they are best able to participate and complete incredible learning programs such as Moby Max, Myon, Savaas, etc. Timers will allow students to be more independent when working in centers or during activities where time is needed to be kept but by individual students or groups. This will help when they measure their reading fluency and track their own progression of their personal goals Expo markers will help students write on their whiteboards during small group for math and reading. The weight mass measurement center will help students to better understand the concepts of different measurements and how they are related to one another by manipulating a scale in real life. Magnetic folder bins will help students with organization and independence. They will hold different assignments and documents of regular use for the students. Magnetic board supply caddy will help with organization of materials and manipulatives used to enhance student learning.
