This garden will allow students to learn about sustainable gardening and the process of gardening as well. We will also paint and stain our planters as well. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in community and gardening. Students will research, plan, and create a wonderful garden. We will research what type of flowers and vegetables that we plan to plant in the desert. We will also study how to grow, care for, and take care of the flowers and vegetables. We will then compare which types of plants thrived in our garden. Then we plan to plant an inside herb garden during the winter months. We will take care of the outside plants during winter, but we also want to plant an inside herb garden. After we research, we will then create a wonderful garden! We will paint the wood trim that protects the green. We will also take care of our plants and vegetables. So, that is how we, the students, will research, plan, and create a wonderful garden.
