Throughout lessons, I give students the opportunity to work with students in their immediate vicinity. By building these work stations, students will gather around the white board and figure out difficult math problems with their peers. This is the perfect post-quarantine strategy to get kids talking about math. So much collaboration is already happening at their desks, but it is consistently with the same students. These stations will only amplify the team effort put into solving these complex problems. The calculators will also provide students with the tools necessary to be successful.
