My students attend a self-contained classroom in a self-contained school. They are between the ages of 18-20 with multiple disabilities. During Covid-19, they sat at home, didn't exercise, and didn't eat healthy. Teaching them how to grow herbs and vegetables would be very beneficial to all of my students. They will get a chance to plant, continue in the growth, observe how they grow, and eat freshly grown vegetables and herbs. Once our items are grown, we are going to learn how to cook them with picture recipes. The students will make a recipe book with these recipes and be able to take them home to their families.
