Because of the pandemic, thousands of hard working students suffered various academic challenges and consequently lost a lot of learning critical to their success. Needless to say, my students are some of those students that need support in accelerating their learning. By providing students with laptops, they will have access to various educational and technological resources online that would boost their learning in mathematics. Resources such as Desmos, PearDeck, and EdPuzzle will be made available to them--all of which help them understand math better, engage more in class, and learn much more than without a chromebook. Moreover, I plan to use these laptops to complement their social-emotional learning through engaging virtual activities.
