After learning at home for a year, most of the students in my class are used to being able to get up and move whenever they liked. Sitting at a desk for most of the day has proved challenging for most, and requires constant redirection to be sitting properly in their seats. Despite the amount of brain breaks we take, we still have a lot of interruptions due to students fidgeting at their seats during lessons. That's where Bouncy Bands will come in! By having Bouncy Bands at our desks, students will have a way to quietly get wiggles out and better focus on lessons without causing distractions. Less distractions in class will allow us to have more meaningful interactions and engaging lessons.
