In my school district we have started interactive writing. The students need an easel they are able to reach and write on effectively with me while teaching the lesson. Every day a writing lesson is modeled with the students. While I am modeling students write a word at a time on dry erase boards. Students are randomly selected to come and show their peers how to write correctly. In kindergarten we are working on the concept of, letters become words and words become sentences. Interactive writing has been so effective so far. I know this easel will help even more with the students being able to use it with such ease. I am so excited to help and watch them become amazing writers!
