Donating to our project will help students in both math and reading by providing hands-on and differentiated learning opportunities. Students are working on many reading standards, including RL.3.1-3, and can use these books for higher interest as they strengthen their fluency and comprehension skills. Math books and manipulatives are excellent tools as they support learning about place value, operations, and fractions for standards NBT.3.A and NF.3.A. Students have persevered and adapted to the challenges of distance learning and are continuing to adjust to learning in the classroom again. Flexible seating options can be wonderful for students that may need a productive way to wiggle and move during lessons to remain focused and engaged.
