We have small classrooms and students can barely move around the room without running into desks. Flexible seating will allow us to remove some of the desks and give us a bit more space for learning. Flexible seating will also allow students with the need to move around the classroom, an opportunity to do so without having to move an entire desk. Students can be re-arranged easily through flexible seating so that they can sit and see the whiteboard during our writing and reading groups, as well as giving those that have a difficult time focusing on learning, a chance to focus while sitting away from other students in order to complete their work.
