My students continue to struggle with using technology in the classroom for various reasons. Because of COVID, most of the learning is done through an online platform even though we are in the classroom. Students come to school without charging their Chromebooks, and if it is not charged, they do not have access to their notes or some assignments and tests. In addition, due to various learning disabilities, they tend to give up when learning gets tough. The wireless mouse will make navigating the mouse pad easier and the headphones will assist those who need to listen to stories or lessons online. Overall, motivation is key for my at-risk students so making learning easier and providing incentives will encourage them to set and accomplish goals in the classroom. These incentives include rewards, displaying their creativity with the Cricut for motivational quotes and projects, and help with technology. Please help my students reconnect with their drive for learning.
